Fee: $250.00 for the first 2,000 square feet, plus $3.00 per 100 square feet or fraction thereof in excess of 2,000 square feet (annually). Additionally, there is an inspection fee of $50/hour.
Timeframe to Register: The owner of a vacant building must register the building within 7-days of receiving written notice from the administrator that the property is vacant.
Misc Information: Registration must include a timetable and plan for the property. Property must be inspected at least annually by the municipality.
How to be removed from registration: Changes to registration must be filed within 7-days of the change. A change in ownership requires disclosure that the property is registered and must be updated within 7-days of the change in ownership.
